Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to look through my website, and see how my practice has formed into a colorful collection of movement. A huge thank you to every single person who has come into my life, who has supported me, and who has helped me shape me into who I am today. Your patience and kindness does not go unnoticed.

Over the past four years, life has taken me on a journey of self discovery and willingness to adapt to new challenges, and most importantly changes. My practice shows the course of reflection I have taken through my time living here in Maine.

My love of visual art originated from watching my father work on architectural passion projects, his form of an artistic outlet. He has always stated that his dream was to attend art school, but life requires sacrifices, and college just wasn’t in the cards. The home projects he pursued were detailed, meticulous, and incredibly long. Majority of my childhood was surrounded by the sound of a table saw running, the overwhelming smell of sawdust, and freshly stained oak. Occasionally, I would help him on projects, learning how to grout tile or install wooden floors. Lessons I would only later realize as valuable time spent with him, becoming some of my favorite memories. Living in the state of Maine, after pursuing my Masters, I just now have started to reflect on how my introduction to the art world was unique and full of love. My work breaks down architectural components and forces my audience to take a moment to reflect, to mentally document, and to walk away from a space, hopefully, a bit more aware of their surroundings. My childhood home was a place of constant change, and I believe its important to cherish every stage of life, including the chaotic ones. I have noticed through my own refection of my practice that my own process to making is almost identical to my dads. Many lists, drafts, and drawings are made, even before the start of the material investigation. I am incredibly lucky to be doing what I love. My biggest supporters are my family, and my love of art is owed to my amazing father, who chose to work hard for his family and encouraged me to follow my own art journey six years ago.
